As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob, with Victoria fast approaching…
Finally a film which actually sticks to the book!!! After the other two films being a bit of a let down due to the fact they strayed too far from the books, however I was very impressed with this film sticking near enough exactly to the book!
Pattinson and Lautner become brilliant rivals in this film and captivate, not only the female, audience. However, like usual, it is Stewart who lets down the side. Her failure to react to Jacob’s outbursts leaves her not only a bad actor, but not normal. When someone throws something, your natural reaction is to jump but all Stewart did was sit and stare. Aside from this, I was very impressed by the whole cast, the majority of which played important roles in the story. Rathbone came into his own as Jasper. Although the wig was awful, his love of the role came through, showing Jasper as the character we knew and loved from the books.
Overall, this is the best film from the Twilight Saga and hopefully the last ones will live up to this one!
