12 Films of Christmas – Day Six

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me; six Christmas parties, five holidays! Four homemade traps, three skellington reindeer, two bad-mouthed con men and a Gremlin who is a cutie!

Love Actually must be one of the most watched films – not just at Christmas! – simply because of its numerous repeats on ITV2! From renowned British romcom writer Richard Curtis, you know it’s going to be a banger.

The story follows the lives of eight very different couples in their intertwined tales around Christmas in London. From a Christmas Lobster to a Bah Humbuging musician to a very flamboyant store assistant who simply wants to give that extra special wrapping experience, Love Actually gives a fairly realistic insight into a British Christmas – well, sort of. I doubt the Prime Minister enjoys dancing around to 80s classics and crashing the local nativity, but you never know!

If that doesn’t get you in the festive mood maybe the Santa dressed girls in Bill Nighy’s music video will help…only a thought!
